Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid
Private Swim Instructor
Kids, ages 3 to teens
Adults, beginners to stroke work
Experience with Neural Diversity especially ASD & ADHD
🌊 I am a passionate life-long swimmer and cannot even remember not knowing how to swim. I was a competitive college swimmer in Texas (breaststroke specialist) and am a Masters swimmer and Dolphin Club member, so yeah, one of those crazy people that swim in cold wild water in the Bay, mountain lakes & open water.
I have been teaching private lessons in Marin at Terra Linda Community pool, Mt. Tam Racquet Club & the JCC. I love working with individuals, tailoring their skill level, and teaching them what they need; helping them to be confident, competent, safe & fun-loving
swimmers whether they’re little, grownup & every age in between. I have a soft spot for ages 5-8 when they really take off!
The families I work with tend to be very happy campers & many of them request me again each season.
🌲 I was an Assistant Coach for the Redwood HS swim team for 3 years, coaching all levels of teens, from fitness swimmers to elite swimmers recruited to D1 & other college programs.
