Pickleball

Juanito is an elementary Physical Education teacher with about 30 years of experience. Working at Mt. Tam Racquet Club for 3 plus years, he received his Level 1 Coach Certification back in August 2024 through Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR). Juanito is also an advocate for the pickleball company “Selkirk” and provides expertise on paddles and provides demo paddles during his drop in Saturday session from 2-4pm and scheduled private/group lessons. He has volunteered at several demo days through Bay Area Sport Basement events and recently the Thrive City Pickleball Tournament at the Chase Center where he won a gold medal at the 55+ 4.0 Men’s Doubles. Mr. Guzman is an avid tennis player and plays pickleball also in his spare time. The game has been rapidly growing and that is why he has dedicated his time developing his craft in pickleball.
